Pre-booking a Driver Before You Book a Load

Pre-booking a Driver Before You Book a Load

If you want to ensure you have a driver before you book a load, you can do the following:

1) Enter the time and place you want the driver to show up. You can select the timeframe option for start time to select a range of days the driver can arrive.

2) Choose an option for how long you are expecting you'll need the driver for .

3) Choose an option for how you expect to pay the driver, and enter any additional notes for the order that are important for the driver to be aware of.

**USING CLASSIC ENTRY VERSION**

1) Select the date that you need the driver at select 8am as the start time

2) In the Start/End Address box, enter where your truck is (AKA your yard)

3) Most drivers like to have a general idea of where they'll be driving to before they accept a run. You'll need to at least have an idea of what lane you want to book a driver for. It doesn't have to be exact, so don't worry, you can always edit the order once you actually have the load details.

4) Click Add Additional Stop and add a city that you are most likely to pickup a load from. The system will choose a point in the middle of the city as a placeholder for the time being. For example, if you expected the load to pickup in Atlanta, it would look like the screenshot below:

5) Click Add Additional Stop again and enter a city that the load is likely to deliver to.  The system will choose a point in the middle of the city as a placeholder for the time being. For example, if you expected the load to pickup in Atlanta and deliver in Charlotte, it would look like the screenshot below:

6) For your third stop, enter a city that you are likely to pickup a backhaul from. The system will choose a point in the middle of the city as a placeholder for the time being. For example, if you expected the reload to pickup in Rock Hill, it would look like the screenshot below:

7) For your fourth stop, enter a city that you are likely to deliver the backhaul to. The system will choose a point in the middle of the city as a placeholder for the time being. For example, if you expected the reload to pickup in Rock Hill and the reload was expected to deliver back in Atlanta, it would look like the screenshot below:

8) Enter the rest of the trip details as needed.

Remember that there is no need to worry about the use of placeholder addresses. You will always be able to go in and edit the additional stops once you confirm the actual addresses.
