Tips for Stress-Free Runs with Drivers

There are different things you can do as a carrier to help keep your runs stress-free.

Communication is Key

Open and clear communication between you and the driver is the first step to ensuring a stress-free run.

It is highly recommended to contact the driver as soon as they accept your order if you have not worked with them in the past. You can give them crucial info like the location of the keys, where the BOLs will be kept, and the gate code to get into your yard. It is better to communicate this information the day before than the morning of! You will also want to discuss with the driver any unique circumstances or requirements about the run, if any.

Always Keep the Order Updated

If you are adding or removing a stop, or adding any pay to the driver's total for doing extra work for you, you will always want to make sure that these changes are reflected in the app. Keeping the order updated helps the driver stay organized if there are stops added or removed, and it also ensures that the driver is paid accordingly.

Failure to keep the app updated can lead to a driver getting confused on where there next stop is, and/or their pay being calculated incorrectly once they finish the run.
