What are Tier 4/Unvetted Drivers?
When selecting your tiers, you will notice that there is a Tier 4 labelled as Unvetted. Tiers 1, 2, and 3 are all considered Vetted tiers. The main difference between a Vetted and Unvetted driver is that Unvetted drivers have not had their work experience verified and do not have a drug test on file. All drivers in Tiers 1, 2, and 3 will have a drug test on file that you can view in their Driver Qualification File.

Why would I choose an Unvetted driver?
The key benefits of opening your orders to be viewed by Tier 4 Unvetted drivers are:
- Gives you instant messaging access to a significantly higher amount of available drivers
- Increases the speed that your open orders are accepted
- Gives you more drivers to choose from when filtering nearby available drivers
What is the process of approving an Unvetted driver?
If an Unvetted driver tries to accept one of your orders, the following will happen:
- You will receive an email that an Unvetted driver has requested approval for one of your orders
- The email will contain the driver's name, the order number, and the driver's experience levels
- If you do not wish to proceed, you can disregard the email or let the driver know that you will not be approving their request if they have messaged you
- If you wish to proceed, you can login to your computer web portal, click the gear icon in the top corner, and select the 'Approve Drivers' option in the menu
- in this menu, you will be able to see all of the Unvetted drivers who have requested approval. You will be bale to directly message them from this screen, as well as view their insurance file to see if you'd like to approve them. This file will include their license, driving record, medical certificate, and DOT application. Keep in mind that Unvetted drivers do NOT have a drug test on file.
- If you choose to approve, your card will be charged the vetting fee and the driver will automatically receive drug testing information from our system. When the drug test is complete and the results are received, the driver's account will be updated and you will be notified that the driver is now good to go.
