Directly Hiring a Permanent Relay Driver

To directly hire a Relay driver permanently, please use the following steps: 


1) On your web portal, click the Past Drivers tab



2) You'll now see all of the Relay drivers you've worked with and their eligibility for direct hire.



3) After speaking to a driver and confirming their interest in being a direct hire, click the Hire Driver button under the driver's name. 



4) A prompt will come up asking you to agree to the terms. Press the Confirm  button


5) After pressing Confirm, you'll receive a message stating the request has been successfully submitted and that a member of the Relay team will reach out to you within the next 24-48 hours. During this waiting period, the driver's status will be changed to Pending.



6) After a member of the Relay team has contacted you and the Permanenet Direct Hire process is finalized, the status of the driver will change to Hired on your web portal
