WELCOME TO MULTI-DRIVER BLOCKS
What are Multi-Driver Blocks?
Multi driver blocks are an easy way to place multiple orders and book multiple drivers at the same time in order to maximize up time on your truck. Multi driver blocks are used to help carriers keep their trucks running 24/7 and avoid any unnecessary layovers or 34 hour resets.
- Keep your trucks running 24/7
- Easily place multiple orders at once
- Quickly see popular lanes in your area that other carriers like to book
- Booking a driver block is instant. Once you confirm, the system does the rest
Booking your runs via Multi-Driver Blocks is a great way to gain multiple advantages like minimizing down-time on your truck, avoiding having your truck sit idle during 34 hour resets, and easily securing the right drivers for types of runs you like to do.
What do Multi-Driver Blocks consist of?
When booking a Multi-Driver Block you will see the following columns listed:
Location: This is the location that the driver blocks are starting out of.
Lane: The name of the Multi-Driver Block. It will typically consist of a description of the type of lane being run and where the run would be delivering to (Atlanta to Midwest, Texas to California as examples).
Start Date: The starting date that the block would begin. The system will automatically assign a start time of 8am on all Multi-Driver Block orders. You can edit these in the orders screen afterwards if you are looking to use a different start time.
Block Duration: The amount of time that the Multi-Driver Block will be in effect for. You can always extend the duration of a Multi-Driver Block after booking it if you would like to continue with it.
Number of trips. The amount of unique trips taking place during the Multi-Driver Block. If the block duration is 3 weeks and the number of trips is 3, then it can be assumed that each trip will be taking about a week to complete.
Driver Pay Rate: The amount that the Relay driver would be getting paid for each unique trip in that Multi-Driver Block.
Trip Duration: The amount of time it is expected for each unique trip to take to complete. The Trip Duration column will usually have a day range that it takes to complete.
Estimated Load Revenue: What you can expect to generate in revenue once the Multi-Driver Block is complete. This data is compiled from an aggregate of different load boards for each individual lane that is posted.
Estimated Gross Profit: What you can expect to make in profit once the Multi-Driver Block is complete. This data is compiled using many different factors such fuel costs, trip time, specific lane, driver pay, starting location, among many others.
