Allowing Fuel Codes on Your Account

To allow drivers to automatically request fuel codes for your orders, you will need to login to your desktop portal, click on Fuel Perks at the top, and then check the box on the left that says "Allow Drivers to Fuel"

Setting Weekly Maximum $ Amount

You have the option to set a weekly maximum dollar amount for fuel codes that can be requested by the drivers on your orders. You can set your weekly maximum by emailing support@relayondemand.com

How the Drivers Request Fuel Codes

The process for a driver to request a valid fuel code is simple, easy, and does not require you to even lift a finger. Keep in mind that for every order drivers can only request 1 fuel code every 18 hours.

On the Relay app, the driver will click into the current order and select the "Get a Fuel Code" button.

After that, they will have to enter the truck's current odometer and upload a picture of the odometer. After doing this, the app will automatically locate the fueling location with the highest available discount, issue a valid fuel code and give the driver the address for that location. If there is not a fueling location available within the given search radius, the app will give the driver the closest 3 available addresses and will only issue a fuel code once the driver is closer to a valid fueling location.

Once the fueling is complete, the driver will have to upload a picture of the receipt and the fuel gauge showing the new fuel level.

How You are Charged for Fuel Codes

Every week when you set your maximum amount to spend, you'll be able to pre-authorize that amount for the upcoming week.

How to See Past Fuel Code Transactions

To see all of your past fuel code transactions, you can login to your desktop portal from a computer and click the Fuel Perks option on the top menu. From here you'll be able to see an overview of fuel codes that were used by drivers on your orders. You'll be able to quickly see information like amount spent, Relay order number, date used, city and location, and multiple other important data points.
